What We Take - and What We Can't

Here's the complete, honest list of what Better Call Bosko hauls on the island, plus the things nobody can take in a regular haul and where those actually need to go instead. If it isn't hazardous and a crew can carry it, we can almost certainly take it - and anything usable goes to donation first.

Furniture

Sofas, sectionals, sleepers, dressers, tables, chairs, bed frames, bookcases, desks, and whole-room sets, indoor and patio. See furniture removal.

Mattresses & box springs

Every size - and note Massachusetts bans mattresses from the trash, so they must be recycled (we handle it). See mattress removal.

Appliances

Fridges, freezers, washers, dryers, stoves, dishwashers, water heaters, ACs, dehumidifiers. Refrigerant units are handled per their rules. See appliance removal.

Electronics & TVs

TVs of every vintage (including the heavy old tube sets), monitors, computers, printers, stereo gear. Electronics are banned from regular trash, so we route them properly.

Exercise equipment

Treadmills, Pelotons, ellipticals, rowers, home gyms. See exercise equipment removal.

Hot tubs & spas

Yard, deck & outdoor

Grills, patio sets, playsets, trampolines, fencing, planters, storm debris.

Marine & boat gear

What we can't take in a regular haul (and where it goes)

• Hazardous materials - paint, chemicals, fuel, propane, motor oil, asbestos → designated hazardous-waste collection.

• Mattresses in the trash - banned statewide → recycling (we handle it).

• Active bed bugs → a pest professional first.
